About Patricia's family

Hope for the Holidays

The foster mom is a single mom of one and new to fostering to adopt. She was matched with a 9-year-old boy who is in the adoptive program. It seems like this will be his forever home as they have bonded. The child had mild depression symptoms that have improved due to the family's active lifestyle, community involvement, and bonding with loved ones. However, the mom needs suggestions for activities for the child at home.

About Nate

Age: 9 | Gender: Male | Race: Black or African American

This young man has an exceptional personality - logical, loving, outgoing, and playful. He enjoys basketball, swimming, and being involved in his community and church. Despite only being with his foster family for 2 months, he has already formed a strong bond with them. He is thriving in school and his school pictures make him appear older than his age. Despite a challenging family history, he understands why he is in care and is grateful to be loved by his foster family.
